The newest blogger interface will be relevant to all blog soon. Some of you up-to-date to the newest blogger interface and error message all of a sudden appear when setting up a new template.
For example ,you added a popular publish widget to blogger when using old template . However in new template ,there is no Popular publish widget in template itself . So error happened.
How to proceed in cases like this would be to remove Popular publish widget in Blogger and re-install later .
This is different to old Blogger interface . That old you will show a dialog for those widget that does not appear in new template and requesting keep these icons or remove . We are able to still keep your old widget with the code put in widget content .
So I recomment you to :
- Do backup before installing any template
- Copy widget content
- Remove all widgets
- Install new template
- Add widget back to template
